70 years of togetherness and Prince Philip still looks at the Queen with absolute adoration
The couple have been through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows together but their love for each other has not faded in the slightest

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have been through it all in their 70 years of marriage and they can teach us a thing or two about love.

They've been throuh alleged affairs, the shocking and tragic death of Princess Diana, their daughter-in-law, and more recently, the birth of their great-grandchildren.

Even though they've been through so much, the couple has always had the unwavering love and support of each other and we've all be blessed to see this love story unfold over the years.

A body language expert confirmed with Good Housekeeping that the love is alive and well even though the public doesn't see any PDA.

Bianca Cobb, body language expert and author of Methods of the Masters, told Good Housekeeping: "When you look beyond the royal formality of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth's public appearances, you clearly see Prince Philip's love and adoration for his Queen."

The Prince does whatever he can to try and be closer to his wife. In the case of many of the images shown, you can see that he's almost always looking directly at her. The Queen on the other hand, is quite reserved and is always trying to prove her independence.

Body language expert and author of SNAP: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, Patti Wood told Good Housekeeping: "Queen Elizabeth is always trying to be seen as her own person."

The Queen is more often than not seen leaning on her husband not out of affection but out of necessity. This doesn't mean that she isn't affectionate with Prince Philip. It only means that she waits for the moment the world isn't watching to show her love.
